Rhythm provides comfort - so what?

The other day, someone said. ‘Rhythm is a luxury! We need to be flexible in these turbulent times and always ‘on’ to keep the customer happy. Rhythm makes people and organisations rigid.’
In my opinion, just the opposite is true. A steady cadence actually creates space in our heads and agendas to be flexible and take ownership.
After all, there is a good foundation that ensures:
Greater mutual trust
Natural cooperation
Better coordination
Flexibility without chaos
Rhythm is not a luxury, it is a biological necessity when working with people.
Studies* show that teams working in an environment with clear cadence perform better and feel better.
And what's more, your rhythm also results in happy customers!
But more on that in one of the next posts.
What can you make rhythmic?
Meeting schedules and joint check-ins
Clear recurring objectives and deadlines
Regular feedback and team reflections
Clear working agreements and structures

‘Over the past few months, we have talked a lot within our company about better collaboration based on our new business model. With Business Beat, we put collaboration into practice. The ‘from talking to doing’ process was guided in a relaxed manner and with humour by the Business Beat team, and in doing so, the link between making music and our profession was made naturally. Music connects, relaxation connects, humour connects. We will be talking about Business Beat many times!’
